PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower a window pane when a lowering switch or lifting switch is turned on, even while electricity is leaking as the switches are wetted with water. SOLUTION: A power window device 1 includes a power window switch circuit 20 having a lowering switch 22 and a lifting switch 23. When the lowering switch 22 is turned on, a ground switch 33 is operated accordingly. When the lifting switch 23 is turned on, a ground switch 35 is operated accordingly. When electricity is leaking as the part between the contacts of the lowering switch 23 and the part between the contacts of the lifting switch 22 are wetted with water, a water immersion detector 40 detects immersion of the automobile in water, and when the lifting switch 23 is turned on, the ground switch 35 grounds the lowering switch 22. An electronic door control unit 21 drives a drive motor M when both of the switches 22, 23 are turned on and when the water immersion detector 40 detects the immersion. |
