PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate constant thrust force at all times and to prevent load from being applied to a ball and a non-uniform part of a groove by forming an elastic part in a ball holder. SOLUTION: For example, a ball holder 4 of a differential device is formed by long holes 4c, slits 4d as an elastic part, and a ball 5. Moreover, the slits 4d are radially formed from an inside diameter 4e to a small diameter part 4f at a width of 1 mm between long holes 4c. Since the differential device constituted in this way has the elastic part in which the slits 4d are formed in the ball holder 4, the slits 4d formed in the ball holder 4 can slightly loosen the regulation in the angular direction of the ball 5, even if a groove 3a of a disc plate 3 has no complete shape. For this reason, it is possible to bring almost all the balls 5 into contact with the groove 3a of the disc plate 3 to generate constant thrust force at all times and prevent load from being applied to the ball 5 and a non-uniform part of the groove 3a.
