<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article transporting facility of guide type using a guide rail, whereby cost-down is established by lessening of the length of the guide rail and also the guide rail laying works can be executed easily. SOLUTION: On a road surface on which an article transporting vehicle 10 of self mobile type should run, a guide rail 11 is installed along the running path of the vehicle 10, and the vehicle 10 is guided along the guide rail 11 while a guide roller furnished on the vehicle 10 is in contact with the guide rail 11. In this article transporting facility, articles A are transferred to article transfer parts 6, 7, 12, 13, 15 furnished on the sides of the running path, wherein the guide rail 11 is provided with a curved part 11a, and the vehicle 10 runs outside the curved part 11a.</p> |
