PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photo film less in surface staining after heat development and excellent in flatness and to provide the heat-treating method therefor. SOLUTION: In this heat treating method of the photographic film, in a process for performing a heat treatment while the film is conveyed, the film is coated at least with one or more layers and also it is passed through 2 to 100 pieces of rollers arranged at the interval of 1 to 50 cm, also while the film is wound up after the heat treatment of the film, the film is cooled at the cooling rate of 0.01 deg.C/sec to 10 deg.C/sec in the temp. range from glass transition temp. of the film (Tg)+40 deg.C to Tg-10 deg.C, and the photographic film substrate is defined as 5μm to 20μm in ruggedness in the film width direction. |
