PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition, excellent in shudder-prevention properties, and long in shudder-prevention life by using a dithiocarbamate compound and a condensation product of a specific fatty acid and an amine, as additives. SOLUTION: This composition is obtained by blending (A) a dithiocarbamate compound and (B) a condensation product of an 8-30 deg.C branched chain fatty acid and an amine (preferably, a condensation product of isostearic acid and tetraethylenepentamine) to a base oil, and preferably by further blending an amine-based antioxidant therewith. The base oil preferably contains a viscosity index improver (preferably polymethacrylate or the like) in a proportion of 0-30 wt.% based on the whole amount of the composition. The blending amount of each component is preferably 0.05-1 wt.% component A, 0.05-2 wt.% component B and 0-2 wt.% component C. As a result, a composition suitable for a lubricant and a hydraulic oil or the like for an automatic operation and a variable transmission machine which have a wet clutch can be provided. |
