<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable high-density and high-quality monochromatic recording by an ink-jet record method which is suitable also for use in medical diagnoses, by using two or more black inks of different densities to record images. SOLUTION: In recording images by an ink-jet record method, at least two or more black inks of different densities, preferably, at least three or more black inks of different densities are used. In the case where two inks of different densities are used, a density of the thinner ink is not smaller than 2% and smaller than 70%, more preferably 10-35% of a density of the thicker ink. A dye or pigment used in the ink of a highest density is made different in kind from a dye or pigment used in the ink of a lowest density. Moreover, the dye or pigment of the ink of the highest density has smaller diffusion properties in a recording medium than the pigment or dye of the ink of the lowest density.</p> |
