PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and excellently dry a garment set in a room for drying. SOLUTION: After carrying out drying operation by air blow for a predetermined time T1 by driving a fan 7, a heat source 8 is energized so as to carry out finish-drying operation by hot air for a predetermined time. Hot air drying operation by operating the heat source 8 at least one time for a predetermined time T3 during air blow drying operation is carried out, and humiditiesα1,α2 before and after the hot-air drying operation are detected by a humidity sensor 20. If the humidityα2 after the hot air operation is lower than the humidityα1 before the operation, the hot air drying operation is continuously carried out for a predetermined time to carry out the finish-drying operation. In this way, the electric charge can be saved in comparison with that of a drying operation in which a garment is dried only by hot air, and an excellent finish drying which is conventionally difficult is available in the drying operation with only air blow. Since the finish-drying operation is started after judging that a garment is substantially dried garments can be efficiently and evenly dried even though the atmosphere (humidity and temperature) inside and outside of the room varies.
