PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electrolytic cell which is made producible at a low cost by penetrating the terminals through the terminal insertion ports formed at a cell body and screwing the screw threads formed at the front ends of the terminals into the threaded holes formed at the electrode plate within the cell body, thereby easily electrically connecting an electrode plate and terminals. SOLUTION: The terminal insertion port 17 consisting of an upper part 17a of a large diameter and a lower part 17b of a small diameter is formed within a projecting part 16b provided projectingly at the cell body 16 of the electrolytic cell 10 and the terminal 13 is inserted therein. At this time, the terminal 13 is inserted into the opening 24a of a terminal extension tab 24 and an O-ring 18 is disposed at the front end 13b thereof and is press fitted into the upper part 17a, by which the terminal insertion port 17 is hermetically closed. The terminal 13 having a hole 13c for a screw driver is then rotated by the screw driver to screw the screw threads of its front end 13b into the threaded hole 14a of the electrode plate 14 and both are strongly fastened, by which the terminal extension tab 24 is brought into pressurized contact with the projection 13d formed at the base of the head part 13a of the terminal 13 on the projecting part 16b. As a result, the electrode plate 14 is electrically connected to the terminal 13 and the terminal extension tab 24. |
