<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a colored composition for image recording use such as electrophotographs and electroprinting and electrostatic recording, and also for fluidized dip coating and electrostatic powder coating use, and powder coating materials or resin fine powder-type coating materials, etc. SOLUTION: This microparticulate colored composition is obtained by dissolving or dispersing a dye (and an electric charge control agent) in a polycondensation-based resin component to form a resin composition which, in turn, is pulverized; wherein the due (and the electric charge control agent) is dissolved or dispersed in the resin component by the following alternative means: addition to the stock components for producing the resin component, or addition during the time period from the beginning to ending of the polymerization for the resin component or during molten state of the resin component after ending the polymerization, and the resultant colored composition after dissolution or dispersion is cooled and then pulverized.</p> |
