An adjustable lighting arrangement has a beam (2) with a lamp attached to one of its ends. The beam (2) is suspended from a cable (6) which is attached at the top to a support mounting bracket (8) and at the bottom to an anchor (20). The beam (2) is secured to the cable (6) by two collars (12, 18). The anchor (20) can be moved so as to rotate the beam (2). The beam (2) can be slid up or down the cable (6) on the collars (12, 18) thereby to adjust its height. The relative positioning of the collars (12, 18) can be adjusted in order to vary the angle of inclination of the beam (2). |
