A motor casing to be mounted in a vacuum cleaner is double-walled. It is made by a blowing process from a plastic material in the shape of a one-piece blank. There are two chambers which are separate but communicate via the motor well, the first chamber being the inlet for the air and the second chamber being the outlet. The first chamber extends between the air inlet and an opening in the base of the motor well. The second chamber extends between one or two openings in the well and the air outlet. The air outlets in the motor well have different diameters. The radial lines between these two outlets include an angle of between 80 and 120 deg. |
