FIELD: medicine, pharmacy. SUBSTANCE: preparation has 2-[(2-pyridyl)-methylsulfinyl] -benzimidazole derivative or its salt that shows antiulcer activity at the dose 0.05-10 mg/ml as measured for free base. Preparation has also alkali and an aqueous solvent without addition of nonaqueous solvent, pH value of preparation for injection is at least 9.5 but not above 11.5. A set for injection has a lyophilized product of an alkaline hydrolysis of solution of 2-[(2-pyridyl)-methylsulfinyl]-benzimidazole compound or its salt and an aqueous solvent. The indicated components are taken at ratios to provide pH 9.5-11.5. New injection preparation ensures to avoid pH value decrease for hemolysis prevention and local irritation and addition of nonaqueous solvent to an aqueous solvent to provide dissolution and prevention of a solvent solubility decrease.
