<p>A vehicle wheel lock (30) which is adjustable to accommodate various sized wheels (24) on a vehicle (26) and/or the steering wheel (Fig. 19) of the vehicle, and includes a two-part base (28, 56), one-part (56) insertable into the other part (28), two arms (32, 34) extending in a U-shaped fashion from the base, the distal ends of the U-shaped arms (32, 34) curving inward toward each other, with a serrated, U-shaped locking bracket (66) positioned internal to an attached to one of the insertable bases, and a double cam, cylinder-type lock (102) positioned centrally and internally to, and attached to the opposed base section, wherein the width of the lock, that is the distance between the opposed arms (32, 34), may be adjusted for placement of the lock around tires (24) of various sizes and on to a wheel, and/or a steering wheel (Fig. 19), and for placing the lock (30) in a position whereby the lock (30) may be locked, thereby immobilizing the vehicle wheel (24) or steering wheel (Fig. 19) and preventing theft of the vehicle.</p> |
