<p>A method for manufacturing shoes comprising the step of cutting a columnar blank (1) to a prescribed length to form a disklike blank (2), the step of forming on one end face of the dislike blank a spherical sliding surface (10) to be in sliding contact with a spherical surface of a piston, and the step of forming a flame-sprayed layer (6) to serve as a tabular sliding surface (9) in sliding contact with a swash plate on the other end face of the disklike blank (2) by high speed flame spraying. A shoe provided with the flame-sprayed layer (6) is more resistant to seizure than conventional shoes in which a sintered layer is formed and can be manufactured at a low cost.</p> |
