A construction for milking animals, such as cows, comprises a cow shed positioned in a pasture area, in which ar least one milk box (17) having a milking robot (37) is accommodated. The cow shed is designed as a loose house (5) and is provided with means which have for their effect that the animals can reach the milk box (17), preferably in consecutive groups, either from a cow shed area or from a pasture.
