The invention concerns a vacuum cleaner in the shape of an elephant with a multi-directional trunk, consisting of a multi-directional rotating tubular connection system both for coupling a suction circuit (7) and for the multi-directional rotation of the curved tubular end element (5). Said system consists of two parts connected by the coupling of a male element (16) and a female element (15). When the user connects the flexible suction hose to the curved tubular end element (5), said device enables the multi-directional rotation while ensuring passage of suction air without any physical constraint other than that of the walls. The device is particularly applicable to elephant-shaped vacuum cleaners.
