The insertion body (10) for an electrical installation unit with a carrying organ (13), which has arms (14), angled at opposing sides of a central passage opening, for the fixing of a unit base (11). A spring spreading clip (17) is arranged in the region of the angled arms (14), respectively effective without screws. The spring is held with a fixing member at the insertion body, and engages with a claw type end of a spreading member at the side walls of a box under preloading. The spreading and the fixing member are connected with each other in a spring arch, and the spreading member is clampable in the direction of the insertion body (10). The spreading limb has at least one holding member (20, 20a), which is detachably hookable or lockable in the tensioned swung out setting of the spreading limb at the insertion body (10) or to the angled arm (14) of the carrying organ (13).
