Manual gear-change mechanism for vehicle with tipping driving cab

. The gear-change mechanism has a manual gear-changing lever (10) secured to the floor of a tipping driving cab (1). A switching block (2) is coupled to the engine transmission, with an automatic mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, or electrical locking mechanism. The locking mechanism is disposed between the gear-changing lever and the switching block. The mechanism is operated in dependence on the position of the tipping driving cab.
