The arrangement includes a knee lever element with a U-shaped base part (1) and a pair of knee levers (3,4), attached to the ends of its opposing arms (2). One of the knee levers is rotatable but blocked against a linear movement, the other being able to rotate and move linearly along an elongate slot (6) provided in its associated arm. A coil spring (8) acts on its linearly displaced end, which is secured to a Bowden cable (12) for controlling a mechanical evaluation device allowing or blocking the operation of the switches.
