<p>A connector (1) for the reliable and accurate coupling of a garden hose (2) to an attachment (3) provided with an internal thread (8) comprises a first portion (9), provided with an external thread (10), for screw engagement with the internal thread (8) of the attachment (3), and a second, substantially cylindrical, portion (11) on which the garden hose (2) is to be fitted, the first portion (9) comprising a stout ring (12) of which the outside is provided with the external thread (10) and which is force-fitted coaxially on a tubular segment (15) of a thin metal tube and is held axially on that segment by a first (16) and by a second flange (17) which are turned outwards by deformation of the thin metal tube.</p> |
