Electronic shutter and autofocussing control mechanism operating method

<p>The method first checks that an initial shutter release has been initiated and then measures intensity of light and distance to object. From this information the aperture setting is determined and the position for the focussing lens which is then corrected in accordance with stored compensation data. The shutter is then released.</p>
