Brake for perambulator

The frame of the perambulator, or push chair, has a brake fitting (240) mounted on the main frame. The brake linkage operates a sprung cam follower to move between the braked and released settings. In the brake setting a brake element (212) is pressed into the outer profile of a toothed brake wheel (220) which rotates with the main wheel (116). A similar brake mechanism is activated for the other wheel on the same axle.
