The splittable introducer (50) includes a pair of wings (51) and a tray (75) with an open top extending from the proximal end of the introducer cannula (60) between the wings (51) to lead the distal end of a long, thin and flexible medical device into the open proximal end of the splittable introducer cannula (50, 60).</p> |
