The machine has a lower cross support frame (2) with holders (6) having suspended slides (3) to retain the sack (1). There is an upper cross support frame (5) overlying the first with four tension springs extending between the support frames (4). The springs have tie rods (7) to prevent them tilting. There are further tension springs (9) between the pivot couplings (8) of the tie rod ends. One of the four major springs can have a weight display scale.
