Production of moulded windscreen washer tank

For the production of a tank, of a plastics material, the mould has a plug (38) in at least one of the shells (30,32) as a cutter, using a plug as a column or a cylinder at the exterior of the far end of the mould shell. A wall of the plastics material is formed on the inner wall of the mould shell, by expansion or blowing, to press the material against the mould with the plug structured so that the outer surface of the plug forms the inner wall of a lateral channel or opening. When the plastics material has set, within the mould, the plug (38) is advanced towards the interior to cut through the moulded tank wall. The plug is retracted, the mould is opened, and the moulded tank is removed with its shaped lateral channel or opening.
