Foot grips for shaft access

A U-shaped foot grip (1) is made of fibre reinforced plastic and has profiled shaft ends (4) which are pressed into prepared bores in the wall of the shaft. The plastic grip is reinforced by using a ribbed construction, with ribs on the underside. The fibre reinforcing can be fibres or fibre mat.
