Torque-transmitting shaft for profiled pipe

One lengthwise end part of the shaft (1) is enclosed by a profiled pipe (2) and is axially movable in relation to the shaft. There are several continuous rows of balls (9,8) between the shaft and profiled pipe, used as linear guide elements. Steel inserts (5) are fixed to the shaft and have tracks (12) for the balls. Each of several ball-circulating shoes consists of an outer (7) and inner (6) cage part.
