After a tooth has been extracted the gum shows a tendency for receding. The insert, mainly consisting of a middle part (1) joined to the base, a cap (2), a mechanism (17) to prevent the cap (2) from moving vertically and from rotation, facilitates the growth of the gingiva after the basic implant has been inserted.
