Container for road gritter

A gritting container for fitting onto a conventional truck has separate compartment for dry granular grit and liquid treatment eg. salt solution. The dry grit compartment comprises a hopper formed between sloping bulkheads (18,19) and with the bulkheads adjustable to vary the relative volumes of the two compartments. The liquid is held inside flexible bag inserts each side of the hopper and with the volume of the bags sufficient to cover the possible angular settings of the hopper walls.
