The shock absorber has an automatically opening check valve(15,16) installed in the region of the lower edge of the bellows(10). The check valve is formed by a number of holes(15) in the component fastening the lower edge of the bellows, and by at least one component in the form of an annular membrane(16) closing all the holes in the event of an over-pressure inside the bellows.
