The skylight comprises a spring arm (2) which acts in conjunction with the lining box (3) and to the window casement (4) by pivot bearings (5,6). One of the pivot bearings rests on a slide-piece (8) which is movable along a guide (7) and is exposed to spring force. The slide-piece can be locked by a fastening (1) operated by a handle (9,9'). The guide is positioned with the slide-piece in at least one of the side-pieces (11) of the lining box. The fastening is in the form of a cam (12). The guides with slide pieces are positioned in two arms (31) supporting the window casement when opened.
