Intermediate coupling piece for coupling together two conduits

The contacts of the intermediate coupling piece are coupled to one another so that a signal which is received by a contact in the piece can be taken from any of the other contacts of the intermediate coupling piece. The female contacts (31-34) are brought together to form a first group and the male contacts (11 - 14) are brought together to form a second group of contacts. The female contacts are arranged in fixed reciprocal positions on a box (41). The male contacts are connected via their respective cables (21 - 25) to the interior of the box, where coupling plinths can be arranged. The male contacts can be coupled to a first plinth and the corresponding group of female contacts can be coupled to a second plinth. Both plinths are mutually coupled with a five-conductor cable.
