PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To modify sealing packing and improve storage characteristic in a nonaqueous electrolyte battery, and prevent the deterioration of electrical characteristics under high temperature and high humidity. SOLUTION: In a packing process of sealing packing of an nonaqueous electrolyte battery, a surface active agent aqueous solution is applied to a packing 9, and is heated, and a surface layer is formed by the surface active agent. As the surface active agent, a cationic surfactant or amphoteric surfactant is proper, an heat treatment is preferably at 50 to 100 deg.C. As a result of such a process, liquid leakage proof is improved, and deterioration of electrical characteristics during storage can be prevented. |
