PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To operate a base station even on the occurrence of a fault in a control channel and to extend a radio channel without additional cost. SOLUTION: A radio base station is provided with a radio part A4 having a control channel through which a link channel setup request from a mobile station is received and an assignment notice of a speech channel is sent to the mobile station 2 and having plural speech channels for a speech and with other plural ratio parts B5 having plural speech channels for a speech. On the occurrence of a fault in the radio part 4A, the communication through the control channel of the radio section A4 is stopped and one radio section B5 among the plural radio sections B5 is selected and an unused speech channel among the plural speech channels of the selected radio section B5 is used as a new control channel and the communication with the mobile station 2 is made by using the new control channel. |
