PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a completely dry photosensitive heat-sensitive recording material having excellent transparency and no fog in the base part, which can form a sharp and high-contrast white-and-black or color image. SOLUTION: This recording material has a recording layer and a protective layer containing a swellable laminar inorg. compd. on at least one surface of a supporting body. The recording layer contains microcapsules housing an electron-donating colorless dye, and a photosetting compsn. containing a compd. having both of an electron-accepting part and a polymerizable vinyl monomer part in one molecule and a photopolymn. initiator. It is preferable that the swellable laminar inorg. compd. has >=100 aspect ratio, that the protective layer contains a binder, that the weight ratio of the swellable laminar inorg. compd. to the binder in the protective layer ranges 1/10 to 55/100, and that the binder consists of a water-soluble polymer. |
