PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly change the speed at the start time just after the shift operation from N range to except D range by controlling so as to supply an oil pressure to a forward clutch prior to the friction tightening element for an engine brake, when the speed change range for engine brake is selected from a stop range. SOLUTION: During a vehicle running, in a controller 70, it is judged whether a shift position is read from a shift switch and a shift operation from N range as a stop range to a first speed fix range or second speed range is carried out. Here, when YES is judged, the signals to interception solenoid valves 71, 72 are turned ON and the pressurized oil supply from oil passages 57, 61 to a low and reverse brake L & R/B and overrun clutch OVR/C is intercepted. Next, after the prescribed time is elapsed, the signals to interception solenoid valves 71, 72 are turned OFF and the oil passages 57, 61 are communicated with L & R/B, OVR/C and the supply of pressurized oil is started and the smooth speed change operation at the start time is guaranteed. |
