PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the freedom in planning and designing a switch and lower the cost of the contact rubber, regarding a contact switch of which a movable contact of a contact member is brought into contact with a fixed contact by an operation element. SOLUTION: An actuator 2b is formed in the back side of an operation element 2. The lower end of the actuator 2a is press-fitted by pressure into an insertion hole of a joining part 4a of a contact rubber 4. The contact rubber 4 is made smaller than the operation element 2 regardless of the shape of the operation element 2 by directly attaching the contact rubber 4 to the operation element 2 through the actuator 2a. A contact rubber 4 with the same shape can be employed for different types of operational elements. A stopper plate 2c is formed in the side face of the actuator 2a and positioning of the contact rubber is carried out by utilizing the lower end face of the stopper plate 2c and the upper end face of the joining part 4a of the contact rubber 4 as the contact faces. A snap touch or a click touch can be obtained due to the buckling phenomenon of the skirt part 4c on the lower side of the contact rubber 4. |
