<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate visual confirmation of operation of a microcomputer element. SOLUTION: This element packages a microcomputer chip 1 on which a ROM only to read data readable only ROM 12, data readable and writable RAM 13 and a CPU 11 to performs operation are mounted. The element further has a light emitting element 32 that outputs light to the outside of the package, a detecting means which detects that the CPU 11 is in the process of an operation and a light emitting element controlling part which makes the light emitting device output light when the detecting means detects that the CPU 11 is in the process of an operation. Thus, it is easy to detect from the outside of the microcomputer element whether the CPU 11 is in the process of an operation or not.</p> |
