PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital bus boost circuit whose dynamic range is improved by ensuring a prescribed bus boost characteristic independently of an amplitude of an input signal almost without clipping the input signal. SOLUTION: This circuit is provided with a low pass filter 101 that provides an output of a signal with an emphasized low frequency component of a digital input signal, a D/A converter 102 that converts an output of the low pass filter 101 into an analog signal, an amplifier 103 that amplifies an output of the D/A converter 102 to provide an output, and a control circuit 104 that controls the operation of the low pass filter 101 and the amplifier 103. When the digital bus boost circuit is active, the gain of the low pass filter 101 is set to +3dB for low frequencies and to -6dB for high frequencies, white the grain of the amplifier 103 is set to +6dB for both the low and high frequencies. |
