PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a general-purpose inverter, for which the specification can be modified, addition to functions can be performed by the user side and the machine can be replaced without removing all the wiring during repairing and which needs minimum spare parts without a large number of parts otherwise required, having different combinations between the main circuit section and the control circuit section by kind, capacity and specifications of a power source. SOLUTION: A main circuit unit 10 is constituted of a converter module for performing AC/DC conversion, a main capacitor circuit, an inverter module for performing inverse conversion of DC/AC, and a base drive circuit for driving the inverter module, as well as a control unit 50 containing a frequency input circuit and a microcomputer outputting base control signals, created through base control signals for voltage and frequency corresponding to the command signals from the frequency input circuit which are output to the base drive circuit are constituted as individual unit structural bodies. When the main circuit unit 10 and the control unit 50 are mechanically coupled in a separable and replaceable manner with screws 100 or the like and are electrically connected by male and female connectors in a push-pull manner. |
