PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for printed circuit board of direct type, whereby the deformation of a flexible piece is precluded. SOLUTION: A pawl member 20 is mounted at the tips of a pair of arms 13 installed protrusively at the two ends about the longitudinal direction of a base piece 12, having a slot 14 in which part of a printed circuit board is to be inserted. The pawl member 20 is equipped with a pawl piece 22 to lock the side of the board with the center part of a flexible piece 21 and a disengaging piece 23 to deflect the flexible piece 21 in a direction such that the pawl piece 22 is separated from the board. The two ends of the flexible piece 21 are deflected when the two ends are fitted in grooves 15 provided in the arms 13, and an external force is applied to the disengaging piece 23. Accordingly stress concentration on the flexible piece 21 is precluded, and deformation of the flexible piece 21 is suppressed. |
