PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable telephone set with which convenience can be improved by reducing telephone directory retrieval work by adding a new function to a telephone directory memory while utilizing a call originating number and a call incoming number. SOLUTION: A storage part 2 is provided with plural tables. In each table, the data having originated and terminated calls in a telephone directory memory 21 are classified into plural groups with names, addresses and abbreviated numbers as keys and further, the telephone numbers in the respective groups are stored in the order from the newst originated or terminated call. Thus, when retrieving the telephone directory memory, a telephone number is retrieved with an item easy to understand for a user as a key and further, the retrieved telephone numbers are displayed in the order from the newest originated or terminated call. |
