PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make is possible to play plural musical instruments while reducing occupancy space and execute playing with a playing method having more reality. SOLUTION: This instrument is provided with an infrared LED(light emitting diode) panel 3 by which the back surface side of a translucent plane 2 is irradiated with infrared-rays, a CCD(charge coupled device) camera 4 for image-picking up only infrared-rays made incident from the translucent plane 2 side, and a projector 5 for projection-displaying a picture (include no infrared rays) onto the translucent plane 2. When a user performs operation at the front surface side of the translucent-plane 2, reflected infrared light quantity is varied, thus a control device 7 detects the variation of reflected light quantity as detected picture information based on an image pickup signal of the CCD camera 4, and executes the prescribed control for outputting musical sound of a musical instrument displayed on the translucent plane 2 in accordance with playing information obtained based on the picture information to output the musical sound from a loudspeaker 6. |
