摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a non-visible laser optical system to be easily controlled by a method, wherein a second semiconductor chip which emits visible laser rays is provided so as to make its optical axis separated slightly from and parallel to that of a first semiconductor laser chip. SOLUTION: For instance, a first AlGaIn semiconductor laser chip 20 which emits non-visible light rays such as ultraviolet rays, and a second semiconductor laser chip 30 of GaAs which emits red visible rays, are arranged on a grounding plate 10 separated from each other by a fine space and in parallel with each other. The semiconductor laser chips 20 and 30 are lasers of current constricting stripe electrode-type double heterojunction type. In a semiconductor laser device 1 of the above structure, the optical axis X1 of light rays outputted from the first semiconductor laser chip 20, and the optical axis X2 of light rays outputted from the second semiconductor laser chip 30, are parallel and separated from each other by a fine spaceΔ. Therefore, the irradiating point P1 of non-visible light rays X1 can be recognized easily, so that the optical axis of the semiconductor laser 1 can be easily aligned.
