摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxide superconductive wire material having a circular or rotatory symmetric polygonal cross-section and high critical current density and provide a conductor for a stranded wire and a cable employing such a superconductive material. SOLUTION: In this oxide superconductive wire 10, the center part 14a of the stabilized matrix 14 which coats the oxide superconductive filaments 12 is made of a material harder than a material for the peripheral parts 14b. The center part 14a is made of a silver alloy and the peripheral parts 14b are made of silver. The aspect ratio of the filaments 12 is controlled to be 4-40. The thickness of the filaments 12 is controlled to be 2-50μm. The filaments 12 are arranged in a rotatory symmetric manner around the center of the wire 10. It is preferable that the filaments 12 are laminated in the prescribed directions.
