<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve transfer efficiency, eliminate toner from being recovered and discarded, prevent an image disturbance such as a blur even when polymerized toner is used, and obtain a good image by sticking fine grains to the surface of an intermediate transfer body, and setting the friction coefficient of the surface of the intermediate transfer body after the fine grains are stuck to a specific value or above against toner. SOLUTION: Fine grains 16 or an aggregate made of the fine grains 16 is stuck to the surface of an intermediate transfer body 5. When a toner image is transferred on the fine grains 16, voids exist between the fine grains 16 and toner grains 14b, or the contact area between the toner grains 14b and the intermediate transfer body 5 is reduced, and the nonelectrostatic force is reduced. When the electric field is applied at the time of a transfer, the toner grains 14 b are easily shifted, and the transfer can be made with the efficiency near 100%. When the friction coefficient of the surface of the intermediate transfer body 5 after the fine grains 16 are stuck is set to 0.2 or above against the toner grains 14b, an image disturbance such as a blur can be prevented.</p> |
