摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video communication system in which a partial video image sent from different video servers is integrated as one video content at a receiver side and the image is continuously displayed. SOLUTION: Video data at the head of a partial video image to be received next at a video reception terminal are transferred from a video server 103 for storing the above data to a video server 102 for storing one preceding partial video image, so as to allow the video server 102 to send a head of a succeeding partial video image immediately after the transmission of the partial video image without interruption. Thus, the effect of fluctuation in a delay time is reduced and a buffer underflow at the reception side is suppressed. Furthermore, the video reception terminal 105 is provided with two buffer sections 124, 126, and the video data are shared depending on senders to allow the two video servers 102, 103 to easily detect the part received in duplicate and either of them is deleted. Thus, mixture of the video data at the border of the partial video image is avoided.
