PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a highly efficient switching work by the minimum number of working staffs by connecting a line switching device with a station in which a switchboard is set, transmitting an instruction signal from a terminal in the house of a subscriber by a push button operation, and switching the connection of a line terminal board in the station from a conventional analog terminal to an ISDN terminal. SOLUTION: A line switching device 1 is preliminarily connected between terminals A and B of a switchboard 2 and a line terminal board 5 of a subscriber's terminal in a station 6 in which the switchboard 2 is set. Afterwards, an operator operates a switching operation by operating a terminal 8 set in a subscriber's house 7. Then, after the ISDN switching operation of a switchboard terminal is completed, the terminal B of the switchboard 2 is connected through a jumper line 9 with the connection terminal of the first telephone line in the line terminal board 5 in the station 6, and the line switching device 1 is removed so that the ISDN switching of the first telephone line can be completed. Thus, a switching work from the conventional analog terminal to the ISDN terminal can be easily attained in a short time.
