PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To convert the input corresponding to pronunciation into a proper character string by correcting the input. SOLUTION: A key train inputted from a keyboard 5 is supplied to an input key buffer 22. The key train is converted by means of a tune processing section 29 in accordance with a pronunciation changing rule and stored on a candidate table 27. The converted key train is converted into a Hankul alphabet string by means of a key arrangement processing section 31 and supplied to a retrieval buffer 28. A word dictionary processing section 33 retrieves the Hankul word corresponding to the Hankul alphabet string in the buffer 28 and supplies the retrieved results to a display table 23. When a user selects the word on the display table 23, the word is supplied to an input buffer 25 and decided as the Hankul word corresponding to the inputted key train. |
