PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid sensor that is excellent in responsiveness, hardly deteriorated, easy to manufacture, and inexpensive. SOLUTION: A protective cover 6 is disposed outside a sensor element 5 and the protective cover 6 is extended toward the fluid side vertically, beyond the end of the sensor element 5, from the end face 14 of a screw part 13 and opened at the fore end. Three pawls 8 are provided at the fore end 7 of the protective cover 6 so that they project forward obliquely toward the center. Part of a fluid strikes on the pawl 8 positioned on the downstream side, as shown by an arrow B, and it is guided into the protective cover 6, circulates inside the protective cover 6 as shown by a broken line part of the arrow B, strikes on the pawl 8 positioned on the upstream side and goes out of the protective cover 6. |
